DOOM Eternal is a first-person shooter for Xbox One, released on 20 March 2020.
What is the game?
The Doom Slayer fights across Earth and Hell after a demonic invasion. Combat rewards aggression: glory kills restore health, the chainsaw restores ammo and the flamethrower gives armour.
How does it play?
It is fast and mobile, with dashing, climbing and vertical arenas. Each enemy has a weak point, so target priority matters.
Is it multiplayer?
The campaign is single-player, with a separate asymmetric online Battlemode. Multiplayer needs Xbox Live Gold.
