Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is Team Ninja's action retelling of the first Final Fantasy, on PlayStation 5.
Is it turn-based?
No. Combat is real-time and fast, with job changes, weapon switching mid-combo and a break gauge on enemies.
How does the job system work?
You cycle through jobs such as swordsman, mage and dragoon, each with its own abilities, and can carry two at once for instant switching.
Is it hard?
Yes, particularly on higher difficulties. The three difficulty settings let you tune it toward story or challenge.
