The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is a Nintendo Switch adventure in which Princess Zelda, not Link, is the playable hero. Released on 26 September 2024, it sends Zelda across Hyrule to close the rifts that are swallowing the kingdom.
How does the echo system work?
Zelda uses the Tri Rod to create "echoes", copies of objects and monsters she has encountered. Echoes can be stacked into platforms, used as shields, thrown at enemies or combined to solve puzzles. Some monsters can also fight alongside her.
Can Zelda fight directly?
Yes. Alongside echoes, Zelda can enter a Swordfighter form that lets her attack with a sword and shield. The game is a single-player action-adventure.
Which languages are supported?
Nintendo lists English, French, Italian, German, Dutch, Portuguese, Spanish, Russian, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Japanese. The store does not state which cover language this box carries.
