Cotton Guardian Force Saturn Tribute collects three Saturn-era shooters on one Nintendo Switch cartridge: Cotton 2, Cotton Boomerang and Guardian Force. The collection is produced by City Connection with Success.
Which games are included?
Cotton 2 is the 1997 witch-themed shooter with command-based magic and a two-player mode. Cotton Boomerang expands the character roster and adds more freedom to switch characters. Guardian Force is a multidirectional shooter featuring cyber tanks.
What modern features does the collection add?
City Connection lists pause, quick save and load, rewind, slow mode and online rankings. These options make the Saturn games easier to approach without changing their original presentation.
Is the in-game text in English?
That is unverified. City Connection's product information for the Japanese release says the supported languages are Japanese, English, Traditional Chinese and Korean, but only Japanese is supported in game. The store's "(English)" label may refer to packaging or menus, so confirm the in-game language before ordering if English text matters to you.
The store confirms this copy has English text; the publisher's product information describes the standard edition as Japanese-only, so this is a regional variant. Check the box language list on arrival.
