Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth

Persona Q takes the beloved characters from the hit role-playing games Persona 3and Persona 4, and puts them into an all-new adventure. The game combines the cast of characters from the Personagames and puts them in the gameplay style of EtrianOdyssey, where teams of five will navigate dungeons in a first-person view. Each character will also have access to their Persona, a manifestation of their strength of heart. Players will level up their Personas as well as collect, fuse, level up, and equip new Sub Personas. New characters, enemies, and the map-obstructing FOEs will give players all-new challenges.

The game is mostly enjoyable for fans of Persona 3 and 4, as it plays on fan stereotypes and quirks for the characters, which are all exaggerated. This may annoy some players, as the exaggeration makes some characters very different from their original versions (e.g. Akihiko is almost literally obsessed with protein and includes it in all his conversations.) The story, however, is very fun and full of quirks. The map is slightly tedious, but you get used to filling it in eventually. The dungeon system does, however, get slightly boring and repetitive. However, if you can get through them, you uncover a more than interesting story. It's a fun experience as a game, but can get tedious for some players, depending on your taste in games and gameplay.
